Sudanese-Australian writer, broadcaster, recovering engineer and style icon Yassmin Abdel-Magied was in conversation with Joy Francis from Words of Colour as they explored Yassmin’s relationship with race, faith and femininity and the role London has played in shaping her incredible journey so far.
WOMEN TECH DISRUPTORS
In collaboration with Women @ Google and leading tech entrepreneurs and business leaders discussed the challenges and opportunities in the industry, shining light on the disruptors breaking down barriers.
MAJEDA'S CHOOSE LOVE KITCHEN
Syrian Human Rights activist Majeda Khoury hosted a special three-course supper club in collaboration with the charity Help Refugees. Guests enjoyed a lovingly cooked Syrian specialities whilst hearing the stories of amazing women from the country.
DEMYSTIFYING FEMALE MASTURBATION
It's time for an honest and frank discussion about female masturbation. SODA's creative director Jackie Annesley was joined by Founder of Style Me Sunday Natalie Lee, The Pink Protest Co-Founder Grace Campbell and SODA founder Grace Gould as they ignited a much needed discussion around the stuff women want to know more about, but feel to awkward to explore.
